ART-RELATED EVENTS
Arts Criticism Recognition Programme 2024 - Tertiary Students
Objectives:
To encourage tertiary students to produce arts critiques in writing or video form, which can be shared with the public to enhance the understanding and analysis of works of arts by the community and the sector.
Eligibility:
Tertiary students (whether they are pursuing a diploma, associate degree, bachelor’s degree or post-graduate degree) who are permanent residents of Hong Kong. Graduated students between March 2023 and August 2024 are also accepted.
Scope:
Participants are free to choose publicly performed, exhibited, screened, distributed, or accessible art works/programmes (of 5 art forms: Theatre, Music, Visual Arts, Films and Literary Arts) in Hong Kong.
Deadline:
29 August 2024
Recognition and Reward:
A total of 25 cash prizes (from $1,000 to $5,000) for high-quality critiques. Winners also have the opportunity to participate in subsequent reward activity and may even see their critiques published in the media through HKADC’s recommendation.
